Li Auto Price Target Lowered to $24 by US Tiger Securities
US Tiger Securities lowered its price target for Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) to $24 from $28 on Monday, December 1, 2025, while maintaining a Buy rating. The adjustment follows the electric vehicle manufacturer's soft third-quarter performance.
The firm cited a challenging third quarter where Li Auto's deliveries decreased by 39% year-over-year to 93,211 units. This decline was attributed to supply-chain constraints, a product-mix transition, and the impact of a MEGA recall. Revenue for the quarter dropped 36% year-over-year to RMB 27.4 billion. Gross margin contracted to 16.3%, or 20.4% when excluding the effects of the recall.
Despite immediate pressures, the analyst characterized the quarter as a strategic reset, noting positive indicators across Li Auto's battery electric vehicle (BEV) strategy, an expanding product pipeline, and improving artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
Management also formally announced a return to a more entrepreneurial operating model. US Tiger Securities stated that this model should enhance execution speed and product-cycle discipline into 2026.
