Jacobs Solutions Reports Strong Fourth Quarter, Raises 2026 Outlook
Jacobs Solutions Inc. (NYSE:J) reported stronger-than-expected fiscal fourth-quarter results on Nov. 20, 2025. The company also issued a fiscal 2026 outlook that slightly exceeded analyst consensus.
For the quarter ended Sept. 26, 2025, Jacobs generated adjusted earnings per share of $1.75, surpassing the $1.67 analyst forecast. Revenue for the period was $3.2 billion, beating expectations of $3.15 billion.
Revenue increased 6.6% year-over-year. Adjusted net revenue rose 5.8% to $2.2 billion. The company's backlog reached a new record of $23.1 billion, up 5.6% from the prior year.
The book-to-bill ratio stood at 1.1x for both the quarter and the trailing twelve-month period. Adjusted EPS grew 27.7% year-over-year, while adjusted EBITDA increased 12% to $324 million. GAAP earnings were impacted by mark-to-market adjustments tied to former holdings in Amentum.
For fiscal 2026, Jacobs projects adjusted EPS between $6.90 and $7.30. This represents 16% growth at the midpoint compared to fiscal 2025. The midpoint forecast of $7.10 was slightly above the analyst consensus of $7.01. Jacobs also anticipates adjusted net revenue growth of 6% to 10% for the year.
